I really appreciate when people post like "Wicked is proof that Hollywood wants female led films" etc but yo Ive been singing Defying Gravity since the early 2000s. This film was guaranteed to be a hit due to the baked in audience from the Broadway show. Like I'm all about the girl power here but that's not what this is just a bunch of us millennials really liked this back when it came out that's why this is happening
