So you telling me they done took PLUTO out the sky my baby just told me her teacher told her Pluto isn’t a planet anymore -can somebody explain to me how is Pluto not a planet anymore?

一小時內	Skwisgaar defrostedwang	It was previously considered a planet because it's visible from Earth, but once they developed the proper tools to analyze them more closely, they realized that it doesn't have the properties (I think size mostly) to qualify as a planet based on the definition of planet that had already been set. So basically, Pluto hasn't been a planet since the term became more specific, and it's just been getting into the club with a fake ID.
