they say the path is never a straight line, and this has definitely been true for me. i feel aligned, despite attacks and attempts to keep me feeling small. i feel all that has been lying dormant inside, waiting for a chance to wake up again. all i had to do was: show myself the love and care that i used to think had to come from someone else. scenes weren't always rosy. i don't always feel so centered. dark days ( and nights ) litter my history. no wound heals without pain.
