The year of firsts. People talk about the year of firsts when it comes to death, but it’s just as true with divorce. After all, it’s about grief. The first holidays, birthdays, & anniversaries that had potential to be amazing are now harder. Unimaginable? Empty? Memories consume you one moment while flit by your consciousness another. No matter how amicable your separation/divorce is, there can still be grief. While I know this is what I need, it’s still hard af sometimes. DivorceThreads
