I am so happy for you. You have got this right. Keep doing the things you're doing to keep this version of yourself alive and kicking. Although i had the total opposite experience with my pp journey lol. I am slowly getting out of those trenches and learning to love and appreciate all the changes and adjustments. I am getting there too, sooner than later ✊️❤️‍🩹

How I feel. Dealing with loss and infertility made me appreciate this new chapter. She’s only 8 weeks. And yes I over analyze and stress everything she does. (Google is my worst enemy) but when I see her sweet face I’m reminded of my trials and tribulations and know that God put her in my life. I’m happy. 🥹🤍

I don't know about *thriving* - but I am definitely a better person as a mother. I was always someone who didn't care for the idea of children until I met my husband, then it was an aching every day until we decided we were in a position to be able to support ourselves and a baby. Since the moment I held my son, my heart has been so full, and an emptiness I wasn't aware of inside of me, has been filled with love and adoration of my boy.

I don't know if I'd call it thriving, but I feel as though I have transitioned to a new more complete version of myself. Sure, I'm going through my postpartum hair fallout, and my body is different from pre-pregnancy...but! I am more joyful and excited to see how my baby girl grows everyday. You find surprises in more of the little things, like your baby's smile, cooking a wholesome meal that feeds your family, experiencing holidays like it's the first time.

Just had my 2nd (another little girl)via c-section a week ago & I’ve been feeling really good. She is a pretty easy baby & my toddler adores her. Pain is luckily more minimal than I anticipated. No more crazy hormones 😅 just feeling calm

I was the happiest I had ever been for 6 weeks, then I had to go back to work and I had a mental breakdown months later because I had undiagnosed “postpartum anxiety/depression”. It was a wild experience and I often wonder if things would have been different if I was able to stay home for 3-6 months. 🤷‍♀️

Finally someone’s saying it! Yeah pregnancy was rough with the nausea but I had a beautiful magical at home water birth and I mentally and emotionally prepared for postpartum and always made sure to fill my cup up and keep my “pink” and I lalalooove being a mom to my perfect little sonshine. I feel like everyone always has negative experiences postpartum and I can never relate so I’m just like… meep. But ugh I just wish more womben felt the magic and beauty of motherhood.

With my first yes, it was hard but we had a missed miscarriage before her so I felt like every moment was a gift and was also told the MC was a fluke. Had another one after her and my pregnancy and postpartum.with my son was full of PPD. With help I was able to truly enjoy it when he was around 7 months...We tried for our last and had multiple miscarriages including another missed one. We had our final rainbow baby and it was bittersweet. Every pregnancy and postpartum experience is different

I was also very happy ect. But post partem depression hit me when my son turned 1. Actually right before then. It gets more difficult as they get okder and move around! But i love him to bits!
