I spoke to an elderly gentleman at the golf course the other day. I said “Hello sir. How are you today?”. His response was “I am wonderful. At my age it’s nice to be noticed.” It broke my heart. Our elders should not feel invisible or unnoticed. Reach out. Open a door. Unload their groceries. Thank them for their service. Tell them merry Christmas or happy holidays! They are someone’s mom, dad, son, daughter. Let them know they are seen, loved and appreciated. #LoveOurElderly
