hi thriends! I’m looking for some book recs for my mother. Similar vibes to Outlander. She’s read a lot of historical romance (Kleypas, Garwood, Quinn) which isn’t my favorite so I’m not sure what to rec. it’s gotta be low/mild spice. help me please!

Pillars of the Earth by Ken Follett is a classic. For books with a mild fantasy twist on history, Guy Gavriel Kay is my favourite. For something with time travel, The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers is a blast.
