I got my cat over two years ago, her owner had posted on an app I was on a lot that he needed to rehome his cat because he was sick and couldn’t take care of her. I was the first one to say I could take her so a half an hour later she was at my door. Our relationship had started out rocky, she had an accident on the way and I had to bathe her. That set the tone for us. When I got sick there was no way I was going to rehome her. She’s been instrumental in getting me through cancer treatments.
