Because women feel entitled. When not getting their say all the time theyeave and take half or more of the assets. Plus keep children from fathers. That's been my observation anyway

Because our grandmothers taught the generation under them to hate men and they passed it on to us and it just got worse as the generations progressed.

They stopped being husband and wife once they had their first child.. the relationship dynamic changed to mom and dad.. then later they become grandpa grandma.. then they died.. yay successful marriage 😂

Life is so much more complicated now

Because back then they believed if something's broken you fix it. Now people just believe there's more fish in the sea and marriage doesn't mean anything

Our grandmothers couldn’t leave. They couldn’t get a credit card in their name. Needed a husband to get a mortgage. They were often stuck in loveless and abusive marriages. They fought for the freedoms we have. At least until now.

Because divorce is legal... the didn't have a choice and woman weren't allowed to have lives without a husband. Couldn't have property or bank or work..

Because back then women had no rights and were unable to leave toxic marriages you know because they couldn’t have a credit card, bank accounts, own homes… Now, thanks to progressives, women no longer have to stay in abusive and/or toxic marriages

No fault divorce . Before that, you had to prove that your partner was a criminal to get a divorce
