I’ve noticed that I’m one of the few wanting to take a longer break over the holiday. I don’t want it to make me look bad, but I need a break. Not to sound ageist or sexist, but I’m one of only 2 women in our office, and I’m the oldest field person (37 here). We work in all weather conditions and I’m out there all the time. Not to mention having to deal with things that men don’t (having periods and having to look for a private bathroom to pee). I somehow always feel guilty for taking time off.
