A lot of people on the Internet are very prescriptive about where you should get a dog from and how you should keep it. I've got a pure breed who came from a breeder, and who hasn't been desexed. That would be triggering. My biggest concerns with designer dogs is that their breeders have a poor reputation, Google Tasmanian Labradoodles for an example, and they're often relatively expensive in comparison to pure bred dogs.
