In October, I applied to have my ex removed from the mortgage. My ex put some strong words in the divorce agreement about my potential failure to secure this within a certain time frame. I don't know how long it typically takes, but I'm getting nervous! I just contacted the mortgage support rep to check on the status. She sent the conditional approval! It requires signatures and another fee payment from me, but I DID IT! For Christmas, I'm getting MY OWN HOUSE!
