Grief has a way of blindsiding you, pulling the rug out from under you, and leaving you unsure of how to take the next step. Stepping back into work, standing on the sidelines, and putting on a brave face has felt like climbing a mountain.
I’ve questioned whether I could even do it. But a friend reminded me, “Getting back out there is a personal victory, even if no one else knows what you’re going through.” That stuck with me.
