Growing up in Christian culture, grieving was seen as a sign of lack of faith in God or you were “less of a Christian”, because you expressed sadness. But as I’ve studied God’s Word for myself + built my own personal relationship with Jesus- I’ve come to learn that Jesus not only understands grief, but grieved Himself. He sits with me when my heart aches for my dad who passed away last year due to cancer from being an NYPD first responder at Ground Zero. If you’re grieving this Christmas…⬇️
