Romania and Moldova are part of the same nation, Christian Orthodox and Romanian speaking. Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, Macedonia, speak a dialectum continuum but are culturally and religiously different. Macedonians consider themselves former Macedonians that switched to a Slavonic dialect. Bulgarians speaking the same dialect as Macedonians, consider themselves Turkic people that switched to Slavonic language. Both nations are orthodox.
