I'd used all my money and leave to be there for my MIL funeral and my commander did everything to keep me from going to see about my mom. February 2018, a tumor was found in my SIL thyroid. I planned to stay in for the full 20 but losing so many meant it was time for me to go. I'd also just been through too much. Too many deployments (not Kuwait!), never home, missing my kid's life, and so on. 3/

I gave her the chance to fix the issues, she ignored me and all of the Soldiers. She made me the EO NCO, then got pissed when I did my job. Her and her cronies. Who knew? I decided not to reenlist after dealing with so much shit. Nov 2017, we lost our house and started living in hotels. 4/
