Still, Sesame Street has become such a staple of American television that it’d be odd if it did suddenly stop production. I did a paper in college on the psychological effects and benefits of Sesame Street on young children and the show really goes deeper than people realize in terms of child psychology. Lot of subtlety on development and language skills thanks to child development professionals actually being in the writers room. 3/3

What you want is Disney make the show then it gets syndication. Disney would stand to make Kermit regular, fairy tale Muppets SS adaption.

9 小時內	Brandon blessedarethegeek	Exactly. Which is why just relying on the 55 year catalog isn't a viable option, which is what I've seen some people suggest. There's a reason they put a disclaimer on DVD releases of early seasons. We have learned a lot more about how children learn in 55 years and while SS may be teaching the some of the same stuff, they're doing it in new ways; constantly updating their pedagogy based on current best practices.

They already have rights to Peanuts cartoon, Apple TV+ would be absolutely amazing match for Sesame Workshop. (Granted though, you will then need to buy an Apple device to watch Sesame Street going forward, since Apple device is technically required for Apple TV+)
