Candy is what I put.

I stuff stocking with their shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hair ties, new brush, toothbrush/toothpaste, chapstick, and some candy.

Family tradition was always fruit that was directly out of the fruit bowl on the kitchen table and it went right back in there! Mom (I mean Santa) needed filler 😄🎄

I do razor refills, toothpaste, lip balm, the WD-40 is a great idea. I do like makeup in stockings though.

I always put ‘freebies’ I got during the year—3 pack of tampons, free panties from Victoria Secret, chapstick makeup samples, perfume samples, , candy, usually a few guy things like ice scraper, etc. Kids grown, and they get ‘freebies’ from the senior fair now—the big joke is how nice the funeral homes silicone potholders are!!! Not many freebies out there now so I buy things; grandsons love the men’s cologne scented tear out sheets in magazine ads and now girls get new earrings, etc.

I asked for a pack of skinny satin scrunchies and some shower steamers for my stocking this year. My mom also does lottery tickets and Reese's trees.

Oh I've also gotten pocket knives before which was great.

Stocking stuffer and tooth fairy payouts should NOT be above $5 (& that's stretching it for teeth) 😂

My family didn’t really do stockings growing up, but I started when my kids were born. They’re grown and married now and they and their spouses get stockings. Last year I had to mail Christmas to my son and daughter in law. He reported her delight and surprise at getting a stocking! You do you, but please don’t police other people’s traditions.
