The short and obvious answer is that fake, fascist nationalism (Turks like Erdogan) stands in the way for sound, fair nations (Kurdistan). Heard about the Armenian genocide? Countries can be well functioning and multiethnic, in the long run we have to kill the toxic nationalism completely.
