Some people don’t know anything about the books or the whole plot. I, for one, am happy with how the loose ends have been nicely tied up for Geralt in the games. His turn is over, it’s Ciri’s time to shine.

No you're not going crazy, you can indeed play as Ciri in Witcher 3. anti-woke hammerheads are just mad she's going to be the main character which if they'd played through the Witcher 3's DLC they'd have come to terms with and not make a stink about it.

Anyone that knows Witcher expected Ciri to be the next protagonist IF they chose an existing character. People saying otherwise have no fucking idea about the source material be it games or books

it was only a few segments of the game throughout the story. probably amounted for about 2 hours of play time if that.
