Rant: I’m so sick of renting because I can’t ever make the place truly feel like a home. I have never been able to paint my walls a color I like in my life, even as a kid. I want to live somewhere with color on the walls instead of white or beige. I want to live somewhere I can hang up shelves and picture frames and mirrors. I want to live somewhere I can mount a tv to the wall. I want to live somewhere with a washer and dryer. 1/2

I want to live somewhere I can open the windows and not have my space filled with cigarette smoke. I want to live somewhere I can have control over the heat. I want to not constantly have to worry about where I’m be able to afford to live in a year. Couldn’t care less about nice fixtures or smart homes I just want the necessities covered but that’s all luxury now :/
