His 2nd album “Freewheeling” is a masterwork start to finish. Very few artists write even one immortal song. Dylan accomplished that feat countless times in the 60s. Aside from “The Times They Are A Changin” “Blowin In The Wind” and “Like A Rolling Stone”, Desolation Road is amazing. No other single artist’s output came close to Dylan.
