Our Russian neighbors in student housing, used to leave their two year-old alone in his crib behind a locked door when they went to class all day. When I called student housing to express my concern, the parents told the housing folks that that’s just how they did it in Russia. 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

4 小時內	Viktoria leben_in_gruen	I have family and friends in Russia (and also in Ukraine and Kazakhstan) - I've never heard of that because all children go to a daycare from the earliest age 🤷‍♀️ Sounds like bullsh*t to me 😅

What do you think the Americans (or other nations) would do in their place, if they were both students, without sufficient means of support and without relatives, I suppose, in this country with a small child in their arms, and the need to work or study in order to somehow provide for themselves?
