Me - it all started with a knitting blog and a bunch of friends who had knitting blogs who talked about me and my project bags, then other blogs, then podcasts. That was 2008…somewhere in there I made a bag with a Tardis on it and things went a little crazy

I made little plant watering spikes while learning to make pottery. After all my plants had one and all my family had some I thought I might be able to sell a few so I could reinvest in making more pottery. Hobby grew into a business organically! No real expectation when it started. Formed LLC in 2020, it has been full household income for a couple years. This year wasn't as lucrative as we hoped so I'll be looking for a job next year, but business will continue

I have! I love to travel and I’ve been the one planning every friend trip for years (even ones I am not going on). I became a travel agent-my services are free and I have better prices than what is publicly available. It’s amazing to “work” in what I am passionate about!

Going on 10 years now in March of husband and I doing our business full time. When he was laid off his job of 20 years he came home— and I was making jewelry as volunteer gifts at the kitchen table for my ministry. We eventually had 8 employees and a warehouse. Last year we moved it all from Southern California to Oregon and bought a house with a warehouse in our backyard. Haven’t rehired yet but hope to soon (it was QUITE a transition!) Haven’t yet had a 7 figure year but we’ve come close!
