They nickle and dime us every step of the way and shouldn’t be surprised when people refuse to pay for every single ala carte option, which only recently included seat selection. Parents already struggle to travel with children for a number of reasons, so you should unbunch your panties and try behaving like an empathetic, decent human being.

How about a world where we recognise that it isn't a privilege for parents to sit with their toddlers and airlines accommodate it at booking stage without charging parents extra? Children's needs are consistently considered last after adults yet people like you constantly complain about them as though society is subjecting you to a raw deal by comparison

Delta reserves the last 2 rows of seats for families. Ive never paid extra to select my own seats and there was only one time I had to call the airline (I always checked a few days ahead of time when the seats became available). They just put us in the last 2 rows. We have a toddler, but really only one of us HAS to be next to him.
