This summer I got asked if I could come stay for the day with my 92 year old grandpa as he had dementia and couldn't be left alone. I was told he would probably sleep the whole day so I packed a basket with activities to keep me occupied while I was there and made the 90 minute trip to his house. To my surprise Grandpa got up not long after I arrived and spent the entire day chatting with me and telling me stories about his life, most of which I had never heard before.
