Masculine and feminine, male and female, man and woman, are only linguistic binaries. The underlying realities are not binary. Recognition of this fact is why people are updating their language and their ideas about sex and gender. The spectrums of sex and gender are much more similar to bimodal distributions, with peaks centered around typically masculine and feminine collections of traits. Even thought we acknowledge the truth of the quantum analysis we have to act like the Newtonian physics are correct. What may be true at a micro level doesn't always translate to truth at a macro level.
