Just read a thread by a guy who doesn’t have any internal monologue. His brain is quiet. Mine *never* is and the thread reminded me of a string of 8 or 9 years in high school and undergrad where I had a mental typewriter in my head and I mentally touch-typed every conversation that I had, both sides, as we were talking. Occasionally I’d have to pause so my mental fingers could catch up with what was being said. Just me? Anyone experience anything similar?
