I'm wearing a mask at work. Most regular customers ask "oh no, are you sick?" (I have a cold.) One said "it's not that serious, is it?" Not for me, but it might be for someone else, 10 days before Christmas. One said "what's with the mask?" I replied "don't want to spread the cold. That wouldn't be very cool of me, would it? What can I get you?" Why are people so fucking triggered by a mask in 2024?

I am anti mask. I hate them, they make me feel claustrophobic and suffocated. But I don't judge those who still choose to wear one. I work with some that do. However, there if you wear one, wear it correctly or why bother? One of the couple I work with that does, has never covered her nose. Not once. She also didn't start off wearing one (we started together), but did so months later & hasn't stopped. Im confused why she does, and it bothers me so much. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Been wearing mine for a couple of weeks and not a peep or even an odd look. I am in Kansas so it’s not like it’s a liberal bastion. 🤷‍♀️

Why do people even care about saying anything? I always assume people are immune compromised or sick and that is nobody’s damn business!!! I just flew on a small flight where kids where coughing to the point of gagging and I wore a mask because i really would like to avoid that crud as much as possible. It’s not that hard to live and let live if it’s not hurting anyone else. Rant over!

If you want to wear a mask, either because you’re sick or just because you don’t feel like inhaling other people’s germs, you don’t owe anyone any justification. I agree they should mind their own damn business. People who felt they had to say anything are just too entitled.

There are always a few people wearing masks when I am out doing errands. I don’t think it’s odd at all when I see people wearing them.

I wish people would remember “my body, my choice”. It’s no one’s business why you have a mask on. Thank you for being considerate of others.

It’s disheartening to wear a mask in heavily packed spaces, especially with the holidays, and nobody else is wearing one. And there’s always those few who think coughing right next to you is soooo funny 🙄
