Military aircraft often don't show on FR24, as they're not broadcasting ADS-B out info. And lots of SEL GA aircraft don't or are not required to transmit ADS-B info. That's the first think that comes to my mind.

Not everything shows up on FlightRadar. Try ADSB exchange, you'll see some military transponders from time to time as well.
