In all seriousness. How are people coming up with 50??? 100 people = 100% 99 people = 99% X = 98% X = 98 * 100 / 100 X = 98 99 - 98 =1 So the answer is 1 person. Or am I tripping???

If we’re using rounding technically only 34 people need to leave. 100-34=66 people left in the room 1/66*100=1.515% of right handed people 100-1.515=98.485 of left handed people 98.485 rounds to 98% if rounding to two significant figures. 50 people leaving is just the first amount needed for it to be 98% with no decimal points
