I’ve been trying to formulate the words to express how I feel about learning about the murder of Khaled Naban. Many of us learnt his name a year ago after his granddaughter Reem, the ‘soul of his soul’ was murdered a year ago. Reem and I shared a birthday. This man, as with almost every Palestinian, endured so much pain and loss. So much it’s unimaginable to those of us who watch these horrors from a place of privilege. Every murder is abhorrent. But this one hits particularly hard 💔
