I keep seeing ppl say they’ve been on “church dates”, & honestly, it doesn’t make sense to me. The whole point of a date is to focus on each other & have intentional 1:1 time, right? In that sense, when I’m at church, my focus is on Christ, not the person I’m dating. Now, if the church was hosting a special event, I could see how that might count. But just showing up to a regular service together? Idk, I wouldn’t refer to that as a date. That said, I’m open to hearing why y’all think it is.
