Not totally true. I’m nearly 50 and for my age range of dating I knew I could go for casual hookups after my divorce but turned people down who only wanted a physical connection because to me intimacy without an emotional connection means nothing anymore. I’m glad I waited and met several people before being with anyone again. If my heart and mind aren’t as engaged as the physical attraction to someone it’s not a match.

Someone was telling me that she went to a bar and like ten dudes try to make out with her my response was what it’s the quality of a man that you can get at a bar. You can sleep with all the men you want. Men are cheap. Women aren’t. Better to be with one high quality than 10 that are bad quality.
