A few years ago I went to see Holly Golightly at the Lexington in London. For those who don’t know, it’s a normal pub downstairs with a small gig room and bar upstairs. About halfway through a group of four lads in flash suits and weaponised aftershave came barrelling up the stairs, bought themselves drinks, talked loudly enough to ruin two songs for anyone within earshot of them, finished their drinks and left again.
