YES! Even if it’s through the support act who you may not have heard of, the person in front of you (ME) loves them and wants to hear THEM and not you talk about how you have never heard of them.

A few years ago I went to see Holly Golightly at the Lexington in London. For those who don’t know, it’s a normal pub downstairs with a small gig room and bar upstairs. About halfway through a group of four lads in flash suits and weaponised aftershave came barrelling up the stairs, bought themselves drinks, talked loudly enough to ruin two songs for anyone within earshot of them, finished their drinks and left again. WHY ARE PEOPLE LIKE THIS?
