I wish ppl stop worrying about what other ppl do with THEIR dogs

Just adopt. Better for a dog to be in a crate that gets to spend 6 hours a day with a loving owner than rotting inside a shelter.

I slept in my car for a week because I couldn’t get rid of my dog. Why, is a long story but having a pitbull that doesn’t like strangers has put a pin in my social life but I love this friggin dog.

Pile of hot ass take if I do say so myself. I’m a hard working person who wants to have a dog companion. It’s nothing new in this world. My pup does just fine sleeping in his crate while I work and stays out while I’m home. Also just fyi a lot of dogs(if trained correctly) love their crate and it’s a safe space for them

I love my dog and will always give her the best I can. But she does spend time in a crate. She is happy and cared for and so loved. And she is so happy. Many people need to work and can’t make huge job transitions for a dog. Especially with the job market as it is. Stop using your privilege to make others feel bad.

In Sweden it’s illegal to have a dog or cat in a crate at home. It’s for transport only. Why? Because it’s insanity to have dog or cat in a crate. I didn’t even know it was a thing in some countries. Why even get a dog or a cat to have them in a cage?!
