In late 2003, I was in my last year of grad school in Minneapolis. I was living in a vintage apartment building in Uptown, and the building manager was a very chic woman a little older than me who worked for a big ad agency in town. One of her accounts was New Line Cinema, and they would often preview New Line movies in the Twin Cities to get the audience feedback for the ad campaigns.
