The fact that yesterday’s school shooter from Madison, Wisconsin was a 15 year-old girl that wore the same t-shirt that the Columbine shooter wore is very alarming.
Past tragedies like Columbine are often romanticized and repackaged for young, impressionable minds, turning them into dark blueprints for copycats. When kids can access information and imagery so easily online, we have to ask…what messages are we sending, and what legacies are we letting live on? ThoughtofTheDay
