Far-flung family, all over the country. For decades, I'd visit relatives if I was remotely near their home, even if just for lunch or dinner. Yet siblings and cousins drive right past my house on their way to vacations. I got the message. We're just Facebook friends now, no real connection. I don't send gifts anymore either.
