it's not just interstellar, it's most of Nolan films. pretentious and didactic. always feels like he's just found out incredible scientific or philosophical concepts and trying desperately to share his wonder. (usually via dialogue) Even in Dunkirk, he couldn't resist to have an extra(an old boat captain) say the cringe line to ruin the moment.
