I was finally asked The Question. It’s the weirdest postpartum newborn question anyone could ask. I don’t understand why we ask it or what the intent is behind it. And The Question is almost always followed by the second weirdest postpartum newborn question.

And yes there are no good babies or bad babies, but there are definitely easy babies or difficult babies, and even sleeping habits run a wide gamut. How well your baby sleep has such a massive impact on your parenting experience and even your mental health, and as parents they know that from experience and are asking after you.
