This is a song I’ve listened to continuously on repeat in 2024. To me the most phenomenal thing about @jensenmcrae is the way she sings vowels. Her vowels are just astonishing. Like burnished brass and cotton wool at the same time.

I appreciate you specifically mentioning how she sings vowels. I wondered if I was weird because there are ways you pronounce words in your songs, that I love as much as I love the music and lyrics as a whole. I feel like a dope that I don’t have a more eloquent description of ‘I notice/like the way people pronounce things’
