If you're living with roommates and you have accepted that fact and are not pursuing to afford a place on your own then that's a red flag.

I really don’t think there is. I’m married to my roommate. I have an older friend (late 70s) and her and her dear friend just moved in together over the summer. They feared injury living alone, and with rising expenses and fixed incomes, it made financial sense, too. They are loving it! My son and his girlfriend are mid20s and live with another couple. This allows them a beautiful home in a great neighborhood! And they have built in housesitters for when they travel!

It can make sense to live with roommates at any age. What doesn’t make sense is coming up with tons of arbitrary red flags that filter out lots of good men and leave you with not very many options.

You get a much nicer place by living with a roommate, paying exactly the same as you would live alone

In this economy, the red flag is NOT having roommates.
