So yes, your gggrandmother might've been Polish, but what "looks Polish" to the DNA companies' test populations, might end up not being inherited by the time it reaches you, because you randomly didn't inherit it. The further back the ancestor, the less likely you'll inherit their DNA. It doesn't mean you're not "Polish" or that's not your ancestor, but you'll need to follow the paper trail.
