Experts are saying Trump's latest lawsuit – against Gannett, the Des Moines Register, and Ann Selzer – is a legal long shot. But is the purpose to win, or to make his perceived opponents suffer?

I’m sorry, but is that a serious question? Of course it’s to make opponents suffer!!

I know from being in business for a long time you carry insurance just for this type of issue. So defense should not be out of pocket. What needs to happen is counter lawsuits. Teach him a lesson.

I hope they have the courage to tell Trump to go f* himself instead of folding like ABC.

I think it would really get under his skin if every news media would not even mention his name anymore. Don’t even cover the inauguration. If he’s planning on destroying the media then the media should ignore any news about him. Just talk about his crazy cabinet picks. He’d go nuts if no one talked about him anymore because he craves that attention good or bad.
