So, I didn't read Wicked and haven't seen the Broadway play. Today I watched the movie. A few takeaways from MY PERSPECTIVE so, if you don't agree, that is ok. Anywho, I felt like a mother telling her child that a friend is indeed not a friend for the majority, if not the entirety, of the movie. I was angry from the moment Galinda set the witch on fire. Secondly, after seeing the film, I stand by my comments that the allegory is glaringly obvious and being deliberately obtuse won't change that.
