Am I the only one who finds Rosé’s new song “Number One Girl” disturbing? I’m all in for being vulnerable but I absolutely don’t think I want young girls begging others to validate them and tell them they are worthy. We should teach young girls to value themselves well instead of searching for recognitions from other people, and teach them to love themselves first instead. Yikes. I have nothing against Rosé but I do believe media can empower listeners than doing the other way around.
