But you can't. Dont you get it? You will NEVER be good enough on your own to have earned heaven yourself. No amount of good works can get you into heaven. Thats why we need to be forgiven. It can only be achieved through God's grace. Thats the difference between Christianity and other religions. They tell you to DO something. To EARN it. Christianity says the works already been done, just put your faith in God, and follow him.
