I come from Eastern Europe, where we celebrate New Years rather than Christmas (USSR was trying to prohibit religions of all kind). In the West people celebrate Christmas same way we celebrated New Years. I became Muslim much later in my life, and Christmas to me is just an extra reason to smile, make yummy food and invite family over. I feel the whole Christmas culture was created to survive theough the cold boring winter.

I’ve worked in schools for years alongside Muslim people. We have always exchanged Christmas cards and presents ( I also give them Eid cards). My colleagues join in all the celebrations at Christmas All the children participate in the nativity play , regardless of religion, and thrit parents attend the performance. The families attend the Christmas fayres and take their children to see Santa for a gift. So I’m not convinced what you’re saying is completely correct.

So how about and stop calling him a “palestinian” and a “muslim”.

No. Muslims do not love Jesus and need to truly understand who Jesus Christ is. If Muslims loved Jesus they would do His commandments. One of His commandments is to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Do Muslims do this?
