I like a Washburn guitar. I have two, this Santa Fe - a gift from my mother 20 some years ago- and a Spalted Maple - which I used for several songs on the Bluebirds album. Both serve me well. This little Santa Fe is a favorite of my friend, Jerome, a Merle Travis thumbpicking champion, and if it is not sitting out in view he goes and finds it. Even after Delta broke its headstock back in 2006, it's still a warrior and has made the rounds of the grankids.
